Emiola: Glad to be with you, Spiffy! Communities around the world face many issues of different shapes and sizes. These social, economic, or environmental issues are all connected to each other, but today we tend to address them as isolated and unrelated issues. Doing it this way makes it very difficult for our communities to solve all their respective issues with the limited time and resources that we have. At Monuments, our mission is to empower our communities to address all of our biggest issues at the same time—as if they're all pieces of one big puzzle.

My organization’s name, Lions Write, comes from my favorite African proverb: “Until the lion learns to write, all the stories will glorify the hunter.” We believe that those directly affected by the problems we want to solve must be active participants in the process. We partner with corporations, governments, and non-profits to develop innovative solutions that are grounded in reality and promote a sense of pride within affected communities. Our work focuses on migration, education, technology, and climate change.

Boundless Life empowers young families to live, work, and learn while experiencing the world. At the core of this movement is Boundless Education. Using a personalized approach, children address real-world challenges using the UNSDG framework and are empowered to explore their natural creativity, discover their true passions, and shape their own future. We empower a community of active and impactful learners who can make a change in the world.
