Matt: Thrilled to be here, Spiffy! Our organization is working to provide accessible spaces for adults of all backgrounds and abilities to engage in musical community. We put on a variety of events that are all donation based and open to anyone, including circle-singing jam sessions, open mic nights, one-night choir events, house shows, songwriting circles, and more. These events are facilitated with care and intention by facilitators who work to empower individuals to find their creative voice and bring that voice into conversation and collaboration with their community.
Carrie: Thanks for having me, Spiffy! At SimpleHealth, we are addressing equality for women's health. We currently offer different types of contraception to all people born with ovaries.
Marco: Thanks for inviting me, Spiffy! Did you know that the beverage industry has an enormous sustainability problem? Selling sodas, it proposes sugar and chemicals mixed with water, a resource that is ubiquitous, in plastic bottles. If we think in this way, it sounds insane, but it is really what happens on a daily basis. The bottles we use for a few minutes stay with us for generations to come, and they contribute massively to the eight million metric tons that are thrown into the oceans every year creating danger for marine life and creating pollution at all levels. This is only the tip of the iceberg, as it comes with large emissions due to transportation, fertility issues due to microplastics, desertification due to water depletions, and more.
