Neelay Bhatt: Helping Agencies Embrace the Future

Neelay Bhatt: Helping Agencies Embrace the Future

Neelay: Thanks for having me, Spiffy! Next Practice Partners is on a mission to help organizations (municipal governments, parks and recreation agencies, non-profits, etc.) move away from status quo and embrace innovation but in an inclusive manner. In other words, shed the best practices of the past and embrace the next practices of the future. We do it in two ways: 1) Externally, we help plan the future of cities for parks, recreation, arts, and sports through master and strategic planning; and 2) Internally, we help organizations create a culture of innovation, inclusion, and magical guest service. Our team's experience includes Disney, Olympics, Super Bowl, and Target; and it spans every continent besides Antarctica.

Max Kahn: Powering the Growth of Enterprise Software Startups
Max Kahn: Thanks for having me, Spiffy! Some of the biggest challenges facing companies looking to adopt emerging technologies is integration, security, and access. We launched SAP.iO to make it as easy as possible for SAP's customer base to adopt new solutions in record time. To do this, our global team helps enterprise software startups partner with SAP and integrate their solutions to enable their growth. In addition, SAP recognized that driving inclusive entrepreneurship in the enterprise software and VC industries could accelerate innovation, reduce bias, and drive better outcomes. That's why we committed to ensuring 45% of our portfolio companies are founded or led by women and underrepresented entrepreneurs.

Through StartOut, we plan in-person and virtual events that bring LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs together around educational workshops, social gatherings, wellness experiences, and community service. We also provide leadership opportunities for LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs to expand their professional skills sets by serving as Programming Board members.
