Danny: Thanks for having me, Spiffy! LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs often deal with isolation and not feeling seen or heard in their work. Through StartOut, we plan in-person and virtual events that bring LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs together around educational workshops, social gatherings, wellness experiences, and community service. We also provide leadership opportunities for LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs to expand their professional skills sets by serving as Programming Board members.
Inés: Thanks for having me, Spiffy! Did you know that half of the global population is young people under 30? Slow progress on the SDGS impacts us, young people, the most. Young countries spend five times more on debt than on the SDGs. So if we want to achieve the SDGs for all, we need to invest in the next and future generations. We are often overlooked or tokenized, which is why through “Our Future Agenda”, we want to make sure we rally political support, invest in young people’s leadership, and amplify the collective dreams of young people for a better future.
Malia: Thanks for having me, Spiffy! I sit on the Climate Philanthropy team at Salesforce where we aim to reduce the future impacts of climate change and respond to the impacts already here. In my role, I oversee our disaster resilience programs to help prevent, prepare, and respond to future climate disasters with a focus on vulnerable communities.
