Andrew: Thanks for having me, Spiffy! The Homeless Entrepreneur Foundation’s mission is to promote economic empowerment and poverty reduction via work and active citizenship thanks to both public and private civic partnerships, so people living in social exclusion can improve their quality of life. We empower motivated people with potential around the world experiencing homelessness by connecting them with a network, tools, and resources through our programs and projects.
Naroa: Thanks for having me, Spiffy! I know many of your readers around the world connect with you through the internet. Sadly, there are still 1.3 billion children around the world who have no access to the internet at home. And almost half of the world's schools remain offline. This is why Giga exists. Our mission is to connect every school in the world to the internet by 2030. And by doing that, we're bringing opportunities to all children, regardless of where they live.
David: Glad to be with you, Spiffy! Special Olympics empowers individuals with intellectual disabilities to become fully contributing members of their communities and nations. We use the transformative power of sport to break down barriers of exclusion and replace them with opportunity, solidarity, and a common understanding of our shared humanity that the world desperately needs. We amplify the voices of individuals most on the margins of their communities—persons with intellectual disabilities—to highlight their talents, skills, and key contributions to the global community. Special Olympics believes that everyone has inherent gifts and abilities, and it puts its energies into building inclusive communities through the convening power of sport.
